You are interested in CAD/CAM technology for the dental laboratory and you would like to learn the first working steps yourself? This course will give you an insight into the basic working processes in CAD/CAM technology and their special features. You will learn all basic application possibilities of the latest 3Shape dental system. You will also be given an insight into the wide range of materials that are available and can be processed. In addition to the theoretical introduction you will have the chance to plan and create your own restoration. We will begin by scanning the course model together. Then you will plan the restoration in the CAM software, which will then be milled and finished.
Course content: •Theoretical basics of CAD/CAM and interfaces between analogue and digital •Scanning with a 3Shape Scanner and an introduction to the system •Designing in the 3Shape Dental Designer •Milling a restoration with the new PrograMill •Finishing the milled object
