In-depth planning of the simplest to most complex cases

Tooth whitening has grown to become the most popular cosmetic procedure, allowing dentists to gain the confidence and gratitude of patients with a relatively simple procedure. Planning the bleaching procedure and preliminary treatment has become a vital part of the assessment process to ensure an optimum treatment outcome and avoid disappointment at the end of the treatment.

In this course, participants will learn about the range of bleaching options currently available and the most efficient clinical protocols to deliver them. The course will also cover issues of sensitivity, bleaching mechanisms and the need for touch-ups, as well as handling post-bleaching reconstructive procedures. In addition, you will learn how to integrate special clinical characteristics (e.g. tetracycline teeth stains, non-vital teeth, fluorosis, pigmentations, existing restorations, various oral habits and other (un)common features) in the treatment planning and how to implement the plan meticulously.

This intensive course will give participants an opportunity to:

  • Understand the mechanism by which various whitening products work
  • Plan the most efficient and scientific based clinical protocol for bleaching
  • Understand the most common side effects and learn how to manage them most effectively
  • Learn about different bleaching options, their mechanism of action, indications and limitations of use
  • Practice various bleaching procedures in a hands-on session
